Joarez Moreira de Souza Filho February 26th, 1973 Rio de Janeiro, RJ - Brazil About the Artist Lovers and art collectors unanimously agree: Joarez Filho produces Art of the XXI Century! He is able to express his strength, passion and faith in his works by using light colors and spontaneous brushstrokes, in other words, he places his life in his canvas! With the paintings made by Joarez the same happens, it is possible to look and affirm, this is a “Joarez”, even without looking at the signature. Besides being a great artist, he is a great man. Joarez Filho started drawing when he was 5 years old in Brazil, he began his career as a professional artist in Japan, where he lived for 6 years.
